How do I get a free quote?

Simply call us on 1300 88 55 25 and our friendly staff will make a convenient time to have one of our representatives visit your home and measure up. A quote normally takes around 30-60 minutes.

How long does it take to install gutter protection?

Obviously this depends on the size of your home, but installation for most homes takes just one day.

Are installers fully qualified?

Yes, our installers are professionals who have been trained by our company to provide you with top quality workmanship. All of our installers comply with warranties and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. They have also completed a Height Certificate and are insured to work on your roof. What about the dust?

If your gutters are flowing, any dust that penetrates the mesh will wash down the downpipe. Once you take the leaves out of the gutters it allows them to flow to their full capacity.

Will the dust go in to my tank?

Yes the dust will go in to your tank and settle on the bottom without contaminating your water.

What if I need to take the mesh/system off?

You should not have to remove it at all. If for some reason you needed to access the gutter then you can remove the self drilling screws on the edge of the gutter. If you only need to remove the dust that has built up then you could force water under pressure through the mesh to clear the gutters. Most of the enquiries of this nature are installations Aussie Gutter Protection have completed 8 to 10 years ago. As we continue improving our service and are learning about our system over a long period of time, we have introduced a low cost cleaning service for our system for long term customers and for heavy debris areas to prevent them from accessing their roofs.

Can you do double storey roofs?

Our installers are highly qualified in accessing roofs at heights. We will send 2 qualified installers to all roofs recognised as needing additional safety provisions. We are also qualified to use EFP’s and can provide scaffold for extremely difficult installations.

What does it cost?

All homes need to be assessed by a sales consultant to offer an accurate quotation. As there are many variables for roofs, we will need to assess each property to advise on the different products available and to measure for width and length of material.

Can you do it yourself?

We do offer our system in a kit form and can provide a cost once you provide us the dimensions and roof type to match with. Orders over 30 meters will incur a discount. The more you buy the cheaper it becomes. Trade enquiries are more than welcome and we can discuss ongoing supply should you wish to offer this system to your clients.

Is there a pensioners discount?

Yes we always offer pensioners and seniors our maximum promotional discount and sometimes a bit more.

Will you see it from the street?

Most of the time we match the colour perfectly and it blends in with your roofline. In some cases we do not have a perfect match and you may see it if the lower part of your roof is visable.

Why do you have to go so far back on the roof?

The idea of the system is to create the same or similar slope to your roof to allow the debris to slide off. If you fix a product in your gutter it will form a shelf for leaves to catch on.

BIRDS

Can birds spread diseases?

Yes, there are over 60 diseases that birds and their droppings can carry – with many of these diseases being able to be transferred to humans just by being around bird droppings and nests.

Can you get the birds out of the roof?

We will attempt to clear all the nesting material and scare away the birds prior to installing our material. We cannot promise that we will get all the nests out as they sometimes get buried down walls or in places we just cannot get to without doing damage to your roof.

Can you stop the birds from leaving their droppings everywhere?

When we install our gutter protection system, the birds will look for another place to nest and should not hang around your house like they would if they were living there.

Can I just install on the corners where the birds are getting in?

We have had a 100% success rate at stopping birds from entering the roof cavity. One thing we have learned over the past 10 years is to protect the whole roof space and not just the corners.

FIRE

Is it fire proof?

No product/system is fire proof. The Aluminium screening system has a zero fire rating and should protect your house from ember attack.

What if I want to fill the gutters with water when a fire is coming?

We can set up areas for you to easily access the blocking of your downpipes.
